Thanksgiving is more widely celebrated in America, Canada and the American territories all across the world. We have all seen the celebrations of the roast dinner, the Macy's parade in New York and the national holiday being celebrated in almost all of the US television shows exported globally but what people don't realise is that is has nothing to do with America whatsoever although it's arguably the most popular holiday there. Thanksgiving in it's original form is a day to thank nature and it's yield throughout the previous year and to mark the end of the year's harvest of food from the land which we farm. In a purely nature sense it's the end of the production year from the land. As a thank you to all of the four elements and there spirit workers which are. Earth and Gnomes, Air and Faeries, Water and Nymphs and Fire and Salamanders. These four elements all play a vital role in the ecological system of the whole planet. As a result to this the people who worked the land all to a person gave great thanks and humility to the work that these 'invisible' workers all put in to help produce the yield at any given time. So when you sit down to your roast dinner on Thanksgiving bear in mind it has nothing to do with the 'white man', pilgrims (who started the biggest genocide in this planet's history against the Native Americans) it's not a religious act it's a simple thanks to the land and nature. Oh and not forgetting the end of Autumn!!
Christmas. Oh were to start here. (If you are a Catholic you'd better stop reading right now as we are probably going to fall out here) You guessed it has nothing to do with religion at all. Sorry for shattering any illusion here. 'Jesus' was born in June not December. The whole purpose of Christmas day is a very simple yet totally abhorrent concept to all Catholics. It's to do with one part astrology and the other part to celebration that the shortest day and longest night of the year has just past with the winter solstice usually occurring on the 22nd/23rd of December every year. Just imagine the average Catholic sitting at home celebrating a birth which took place in June and even more shocking or hilarious depending on your outlook the head of the Church in the Vatican know what it's actually about and have perpetrated the lie for centuries but hey it's do as i say not do as i do with them right? So when you are sitting sitting down like Thanksgiving for your presents and roast dinners just remember you are not celebrating the birth of a person you are actually celebrating the death of the old year and the birth of a new year with the days getting longer and the nights shorter which unless you live in Britain would indicate a warm, dry and sunny summer which we never ever seem to get.
